Zina L. Evans

Vice President for Enrollment Management and Associate Provost

Zina L. Evans is the vice president for enrollment management, associate provost and affiliate associate professor of higher education administration in the UF College of Education. As UF's chief enrollment officer, she oversees the offices of admissions, student financial aid and scholarships and the university registrar. In her role, she provides vision, leadership and strategic direction in the development and attainment of enrollment priorities for the University. Dr. Evans has more than 25 years' experience in higher education and has worked at UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara and the University of Maryland. In addition, she held the position of director of research for the National Association for College Admission Counseling where she managed research activities focused on admissions, enrollment management and financial aid.

She has served as a board member for the SAT Advisory Committee; the College Planning Advising Board; AP Higher Education Advisory Committee; the Coalition for Access, Affordability and Success; and the Florida Higher Education Colloquium. Additionally, she has served on the Educational Testing Services TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Advisory Committee, Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education, State University System Admission and Registrar Committee, and the National Postsecondary Educational Collaborative. Currently, she is a trustee for the College Board, which is a not-for-profit organization working to connect students with higher education opportunities and success.

She received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, master's degree from the University of Rhode Island and bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine.

Tammy L. Aagard

Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management

Tammy Aagard, associate vice president for enrollment management, oversees the offices of admissions, student financial aid and scholarships and UF Online enrollment services. She served as the functional lead for a multi-million-dollar implementation of a UF student information system (Oracle Campus Solutions) in addition to leading the implementation of numerous supporting technologies (customer relationship management (CRM), UX technologies, data warehousing/reporting and more).

UF's enrollment management initiatives include implementing multiple admission application platforms, improving access through recruitment and financial aid, and working with a team to support the multiple pathways to UF admissions.

With nearly 30 years' experience in higher ed, Dr. Aagard has extensive experience in admissions, academic advising, graduate school education, athletics, financial aid and registrar services through her prior employment at the universities of Wyoming and Washington State.

She is passionate about staff development and has presented on leadership topics at institutional, state, regional, national and international levels. She has served on numerous academic committees that focus ultimately on student success. She has been a board member at the regional and national levels of the American Association of Collegiate Registrar and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).

Dr. Aagard earned her Ed.D. from the University of Wyoming and a certificate in enrollment management from the University of Southern California.

Stephen J. Pritz, Jr

Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management and University Registrar

Stephen "Steve" Pritz, Jr. has served UF for more than 49 years, first in the office for student financial aid and scholarships followed by 36 years in the office of the university registrar. He serves as university registrar and assistant vice president for enrollment management.

He has extensive experience in the conception, creation and implementation of innovative information technology systems to support the higher educational missions of UF and the state of Florida. His passion is to guide the development of exceptional infrastructure that ultimately delivers data and services to meet (and exceed) the needs of students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni.

He has served as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Education, the private sector and other major universities. Mr. Pritz has served on or chaired dozens of committees at the federal, state and institutional levels impacting many aspects of higher education. He is a graduate of the UF College of Journalism and Communications.

Aigi Adesogan

Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management

Aigi Adesogan, an assistant vice president for enrollment management, provides oversight for strategic planning and implementation; budget/fiscal management; talent management and employee relations; audit, compliance and quality control; systems security management; safety and emergency preparedness; and serves as the Campus Diversity Liaison in collaboration with the University's Chief Diversity Officer. She manages the division's business services unit as well as the communications team, with both providing consolidated services for the division. Aigi led the initiative for a one-stop, cross-functional student enrollment service. In fall 2019, the OneStop launched as a pop-up center that provided in-person help for students with enrollment questions during the peak weeks of the term. In fall 2020, under Aigi's continued leadership, this service re-launched as an on-going online service that conveniently helps students who have questions about financial aid, fees/payments, registration or admissions requirements. The virtual OneStop complements the in-person services offered by the offices of admissions, university registrar, student financial aid and scholarships, and university bursar.

She joined Enrollment Management in 2013. Ms. Adesogan is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources with more than 23 years' experience in human resource management.

She holds a law degree from University of Benin, Nigeria, and the Nigerian Law School.

Rick Bryant

Director of Admissions Operations

Rick Bryant, director of admissions operations, has led system upgrades and implementations in application processing at all levels of admissions in his 22 years at UF. He oversees application services, technology, residency for new students, data management, as well as transfer, graduate and professional school admissions. Mr. Bryant has extensive application processing experience and has presented at the institutional, state, and national levels.

With an undergraduate and master's degree from UF, Mr. Bryant joined the university after graduation as an admissions officer 1 and progressed in responsibilities through the years. He now leads a team of nearly 35 who work to meet the ever-changing enrollment application service needs of our constituents.

Charles Murphy

Director of Freshman and International Admissions

Freshman and International Admissions Director Charles Murphy leads the outreach, recruitment, scholarship and admissions team in providing services to UF's more than 40,000 freshmen and international applicants annually. His duties encompass marketing and communication, the UF Welcome Center, alumni relations, scholarships, and territory management within Florida, the U.S. and internationally.

Mr. Murphy joined UF in 2018 after spending more than a decade working in undergraduate admissions at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina and a master's degree from the University of Michigan.

Melissa Allen

Director of UF Online Enrollment Services

Melissa Allen, director of UF Online erollment services, oversees the centers for UF Online Recruitment and Outreach, and UF Online OneStop Student Services. These centers provide student support for UF Online recruitment, admissions, financial aid, registrar, and bursar services. Mrs. Allen coordinates strategy and tactical planning with marketing, academic advising, student success and engagement, and college administrators to support UF Online's mission and goals. In 2020, U.S. News and World Report ranked UF Online as the #4 best online bachelor's program in the country.

Mrs. Allen is a graduate of the 2016 UF Leadership Academy and remains active in the UF Leadership Network. She earned a master's degree in communication from the University of Central Florida.

Donna Kolb

Director for Student Financial Aid and Scholarships

Donna Kolb is the director for student financial aid and scholarships and is responsible for developing and leading effective student services and programs. Donna has more than 24 years' experience as a financial aid professional from three separate institutions, including 18 years of progressively responsible positions at the University of Florida. She has experience in administering federal, state and institutional aid programs with a strong commitment to assisting students with timely completion of their academic goals.
